Overview

Delta Exploration Inc. is a Canadian-based, TSX-Venture Exchange listed (symbol DEV) company engaged in the evaluation and development of resource properties. Delta’s principle assets are its uranium and gold concessions in West Africa.

Delta has several uranium projects in West Africa. The Falea project is located in western Mali close to the borders of Guinea and Senegal. The Telwa-Gada project is located in Niger, near the city of Agadez, approximately 800km northeast of Niamey, the capital of Niger. The Tamekoure and Niambala projects are located in Guinea.

Chief Properties

Falea Project

The Falea permit area covers 150km², 350km west of Bamako, 240km south of Kayes, Mali. The Falea project is in the Falea-North Guinea-Senegal Basin (FGS), a Neoproterozoic sedimentary basin marked by significant radiometric anomalies.

Telwa-Gada Project

The Telwa and Gada permits area cover 1941.2km² of the southern portion of the Tim Mersoi Sedimentary Basin in Niger. The area is accessible by paved road and charter aircraft.

Tamekoure Project

The Tamekoure project area covers 253km² in Guinea. The permit covers a portion of the Falea-North Guinea-Senegal basin, a Neoproterozoic sedimentary basin marked by significant radiometric anomalies.

Niambala Project

The Niambala project area covers 203km² in Guinea. The permit is located in the forest region of southeastern Guinea, near the city of N’Zerekore and covers three mapped “indications of uranium” mineralization in an area know to be prospective for uranium.

  Involved in the mining industry since 1982, Mr. Gillis brings extensive experience and expertise in business administration and mineral exploration. He is the President and CEO of Cassidy Gold Corp., President and CEO of Island Arc Exploration Corp., President and CEO of Africa West Minerals Corp., a director, Corporate Secretary and CFO of Navasota Resources Ltd., and a director of Providence Capital Corp. Since 1985 he has been the President of James T. Gillis Management Co. Inc., a private company which provides management services to public companies.
• CHRISTOPHER J. WILD, P.ENG., Director & Vice President Exploration
  Mr. Wild is currently President and CEO of Navasota Resources Ltd., a Director and VP of Exploration of Cassidy Gold Corp., a Director and VP of Operations of Africa West Minerals Corp., and a Director and VP of Exploration of Island Arc Exploration Corp. A geological engineer with over 20 years of mining and mineral exploration experience, Mr. Wild served as Chief Mine Geologist for both the Mount Polley Mine, east of Williams Lake, B.C. and the Goldstream Mine, north of Revelstoke, B.C., prior to opening his own geological consulting business.
• JEAN-JACQUES LEFEBVRE, M.SC., Chief Geoscientist
  Mr. Lefebvre is a geologist with over thirty years experience in all stages of mineral exploration, with particular expertise in sub-Saharan Africa. He is a Director of Cassidy Gold Corp.
• DEBBIE M. SILVER, Corporate Secretary & CFO
  Ms. Silver was a legal assistant from 1979 until 2002, involved in corporate, mining and securities law, and has been a public company administrator since 1997. She is currently the administrator for Navasota Resources Ltd., the Corporate Secretary and CFO of Cassidy Gold Corp., and Corporate Secretary, CFO, and a director of Island Arc Exploration Corp.
• GARY MIRTLE, Director
  Mr. Mirtle is a real estate appraiser and consultant/senior partner of Flynn, Mirtle, Moran. He is a director of Kamloops Mortgage Investment Company, a private company.
• OSVALDO IADAROLA, Director
  Mr. Iadarola is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Audiotech Healthcare Corp., a public company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, engaged in the business of providing hearing care and audiology services. He is a director of Cassidy Gold Corp., and a director of Island Arc Exploration Corp. Mr. Iadarola is also President of Excalibur Properties, a privately held real estate development company.
